I’m running for re-election because I believe Taneytown is moving in the right direction & while we've completed a lot of our original goals from 2023, and there is still work left to do.
During my first term, we have kept the property tax rate steady, avoided new water and sewer rate increases, strengthened public safety, improved communication with residents, put more focus on parks, sidewalks, walkability, and pedestrian safety & brought renewed attention to the long-discussed Taneytown bypass.
Going forward, my focus remains on keeping Taneytown affordable, supporting our police department, improving traffic and pedestrian safety, managing growth responsibly, investing in parks and recreation, supporting local businesses & keeping City government visible, responsive & accountable to the people it serves.
As we get closer to 2027, I will announce my endorsements for the City Council of Taneytown, so be sure to be on the lookout for that!
